Deep excavations for the installation of services is another practice that KIAMM excels in. 

 

Before we can start tunnelling to complete a timber heading, pipe jack, or an auger bore, we usually have to construct a sheeted pit with frames to create a safe working environment below ground. This is also often the case when using an open-cut technique to install services. When ground conditions are bad, we often install cotterdams with frames before the construction of a shaft to enable our workforce to operate within the cotterdam safely.
